🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"What grain of life does a single crab in a reed bed reveal?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is an anonymous Ming-dynasty Chinese painting, holding a crab crawling among the reeds. The swaying reeds and the firm crab shell form a contrast. In this small creature I see the figure of living in one's own way. The crab walks sideways. It is a step unlike others, yet with that step it roams the reed bed and lives well. Not everyone must go in the same direction, in the same manner. One who has found the step that suits him goes his own path without wavering, though he may look unlike the rest. Difference is not a flaw but a manner.
