🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"Where must one stand to gather ten thousand peaks into a single view?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

Jeong Seon swept the twelve thousand peaks of Mount Geumgang into a round composition, as though seen from the sky. A sight the human eye could never take in at once, the painter first walked on foot before fusing it into one within his mind. I feel, here, that the eye which sees the whole is not granted to one who stands far off, but to one who has trodden every corner. Compression is not omission; it is the end point of accumulation.

🌱Apply It Today

When you cannot see the larger picture, do not try to view it from a distance; walk its interior yourself, one full circle on foot.
