The dragon is a being that lies submerged in water, awaiting its time, before at last ascending to the sky, so it symbolizes the soaring that comes at the end of long patience. Behind the splendid surge lay a long, unseen time of lying hidden. A leap seems to arrive suddenly one day, yet in truth it is granted only to the one who crouched long. To await one's time is not a halting but the most active preparation.
