🖼 ONE LINE FROM THIS PAINTING

"Why is the scene whole even when one leaf alone is taken from many?"

📝ONGO's Reflection

This is one leaf of a Kim Hong-do landscape album. Six leaves gather to make one album, yet this single leaf alone is a whole world, complete with mountain, water, and people. It is part of the whole and yet, in itself, brought to completion. In this making I see the shape of a single day. A year is made of countless days, yet each day is, in itself, a completed scene with a beginning and an end. To watch only the whole and let today pass as a mere fragment is to lose the whole day held in hand. Pour your care into the one leaf.

🌱Apply It Today

Treat today not as a mere fragment of the year, but as a scene complete in itself, with a beginning and an end.
