Where the Eye Cannot Go
The eye does not reach there, nor speech, nor the mind. We do not know it, nor do we know how one could teach it.
Before what words and concepts cannot fully hold, can I fall humbly silent?
📝Reflection
The honesty of this verse is itself its depth — the sage confesses, 'We do not know.' The greatest things are not fully held in words nor caught in the net of concepts. Love cannot be wholly explained by definition, and rendering the awe of a sunset into sentences leaves something out. It stands where Laozi said the Way that can be spoken is not the eternal Way. This is not a call to abandon knowing but the humility to know that truth lies beyond words too. When we set down the rush to explain everything, something is touched more deeply.
🌱Apply It Today
When you meet a moment that words cannot fully explain today, do not force a label — just linger a while in that openness.
This verse is read as universal humanistic wisdom, not religion — no faith is promoted, and the reflection is 100% original ONGO content.
