Critique of Practical Reason
Can the moral law within me move me without any expectation of reward?
📝ONGO's Reflection
Before Kant's grand declaration, which sets the glittering stars of the night sky alongside the moral law within my heart, I felt a deep awe. Beyond the cunning calculation of profit or happiness, he holds up a firm duty to act solely because a thing is right. It was the very essence of philosophy, cold yet intensely warm, driving a compass of absolute good firmly into my inner self amid a tempting world so easy to compromise with.
"Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me."Immanuel Kant, Critique of Practical Reason
"내 위에는 별이 빛나는 하늘이 있고, 내 안에는 도덕 법칙이 있다."
