Little Women
Am I living in harmony with others without losing my unique nature?
📝ONGO's Reflection
When I opened again, as an adult, this book I had read in childhood only as a warm fairy tale, I discovered the fierce life-struggle each of the four sisters carries. Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy grow by colliding with the world, each bearing different desires and lacks. Alcott portrayed not flawless heroes but deeply human women who, even as they err and envy, hold one another close. It is a book like a warm hearth, reminding us how great a comfort it is in life to be shaped as we are rather than have our sharp corners filed away, and to make a space of hospitality that embraces difference.
